DreamMare

 Yep. I wrote and published a book. The name of the book is DreamMare. It is about a girl named Mikayla Smith. One cool October Friday night, Mikayla goes to sleep and wakes up in a strange place. She has no idea where she is; Mikayla definitely isn't in Georgia anymore. Or is she? Go along for the ride as Mikayla tries to get back home and learns a few things about herself long the way. But I warn you there are a couple of twists involved. ~Chanté

Here is an excerpt from my book:

Before I tell you my dream, I should probably tell you about myself. My name is Mikayla Smith. I have dark, ebony skin, dark brown almost black curly hair, and hazel eyes. I’m 15 years old, super clumsy, shy, and super silly. I am not a girly girl. Pink is not my favorite color and I hate gossiping about people. I love all music, the color blue, and the outdoors. I have a great family with cool, silly parents and an annoying little brother, but sometimes I feel a little out of place. I’m darker than my family and a little bit crazier too. I feel like there is something missing.
