My Opinion:

I first wanted to read this book after learning that Rise of the Guardians     was  based on a series of books. I loved that movie and couldn't wait to see how the books compared. And I was not disappointed. This book was a straight page turner full of action, magic, fantasy, and everything in between. I cheered North and the crew on the whole way throughout the book.This book if you haven't guessed is the background story of Santa Claus. This is a much more interesting story than the traditional legend. Learn about the first Guardian of Children. Read this book and then the others in the Guardians series. I know I will.
